Welcome to
BH Montessori School<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

We provide education and care for children between two and one-half & five and one-half years of age. We offer part time as well as full day care Monday thru Friday. We have small classes, computers, music, field trips, summer camp and a loving trained teaching staff. Priority in our class will be given to full time and matriculating children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our mission is to provide a child-oriented approach to education that deeply respects the uniqueness of each child.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our Teachers & Staff<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our teachers all work as a team. The teachers are familiar with all the children. We, as a staff, have been involved in many professional organizations, such as the Pre-School Association, Children’s Roundtable, Montessori Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preschool:<\/strong> This class has a maximum of 16 children with 2 teachers. This class is for children who are ready for school. The children are exposed to a rich, nurturing environment. There are centers for the children to explore and hold much to learn. We offer a 2, 3 or 5 day per week program (either 8:30-2:30 or 7:30-5:45).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

School – School Day:<\/strong> Is a Modified Montessori Classroom with a maximum of 24 children. The children are exposed to phonics, math, science, home living, blocks, computers, art and music. This classroom is a Universal Preschool Classroom and has 3 teachers. Priority for admission will be our matriculating children and new full time children, followed by school day children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

School – PM:<\/strong> Is a Modified Montessori Classroom with a maximum of 24 children. The children are exposed to phonics, math, science, home living, blocks, computers, art and music. This classroom is a Universal Preschool Classroom and has 3 teachers. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
